Designated Drivers

On one of my visits to the DMV, I brought home the driver handbook. Reading it, I came across the Designated Driver Program section. I stopped for a moment thinking about it. Do people actually use a designated driver when going to an outing? If so, is the driver picked before leaving for the outing or at the location?

Visiting the DMV

Many reasons exist to visit DMV. Nowadays, it is possible to use the DMV's Website and take care of certain services, saving a trip to DMV. Even with the services on the Website and the possibility of making appointments, the non-appointment line at the DMV can get long at times.
